The popular TV series "Daria" exposes in its own witty, refreshing style the problematic cultures surrounding adolescence. Cutting through the sarcastic banter of the show, I catalog these issues of youth culture behind the construction of the teenager through specific analysis of the female characters. Offering a special insight to femininity and its problematic construction during youth, the young women of "Daria" represent a unique collection of different identities.
